Holly Lynam – From spark to strategy

In the world of branding and communication, careers aren’t built overnight, they’re shaped by curiosity, commitment, and a genuine passion for storytelling.

At The Brand Marquee, we’re proud to nurture personal improvement which is why it has been such a privilege to witness the career growth of our very own Holly Lynam.

Joining us in her first full-time role, Holly arrived with ambition, energy, and an eagerness to learn. Since then, she’s grown from Marketing Administrator to Campaigns & Operations Executive, playing a crucial role in everything from live events to national campaigns.

Her journey reflects what we value most: people with heart, hustle, and a hunger to create impactful work.

Holly joined us in 2023 as a Marketing Administrator and quickly proved herself to be much more than her job title. Within just three weeks, she was already scouting London venues for one of our B2B client events ‘Thirst for Innovation’, and since then, she’s been instrumental in planning and delivering six editions of this event, ranging from 120-person conferences to 30-person roundtable sessions. The ability to do so required adapting format and tone to suit different audiences and encompassing all planning and delivery across logistics, promotion and audience experience.

Events quickly became a space where Holly’s creativity and confidence flourished. From supporting networking sessions to leading full-scale exhibition activations, she’s become a trusted pair of hands for bringing ideas to life.

One standout example is ‘Luvin Letters’, a typography-led event designed to inspire both industry professionals and students. Holly led the project end-to-end, from developing the concept and shaping the visual identity, to curating the experience and managing logistics and sponsorship. The resulting event delivered a unique audience experience, profitability and an industry demand for its return, which Holly is currently working towards for March 2026.

As Holly’s confidence has grown, so too has her skillset. With no prior experience in design software, Holly has learnt how to successfully use Canva, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics, now confidently producing campaign decks, social content, and event visuals. A particular career highlight was collaborating on the Luvin Letters brand identity,

“The design team have always been so encouraging to help me develop my skills, and on Luvin Letters I really felt in tune with our brand voice and visuals, we collaborated to deliver an identity that just felt right, it’s something I’m particularly proud of.”

Another area where Holly has excelled is email marketing. She has become highly proficient in Mailchimp, not just designing engaging layouts, but also hand-coding tables and graphs to better visualise campaign data. It’s a skill she’s proud of, combining both her creative instincts and technical curiosity:

“I really enjoyed designing our Mailchimp campaigns, especially playing around with the layout. Coding the tables and graphs was a rewarding challenge, and it’s been great to see how much value that brings to our campaigns.”

Just two and a half years into her career, Holly is a core part of our campaign strategy and delivery team. From influencer outreach and SEO optimisation for international brands like JJ Kavanagh and LPI Group, to designing reels, newsletters and paid social campaigns, her work helps our clients stand out and connect with the right audiences in the best way.

Holly is also a familiar face at exhibitions and industry events – she’s always learning, always contributing, always representing.

What’s next for Holly? With goals to lead more branded experiences and partner with ethical, story-driven brands, Holly’s career is only just beginning. We’re incredibly proud of her determination, positive attitude and progress to date, and excited to see how she continues to transform her career and our client’s communications.
